Copenhagen, Denmark Airport Disaster!

Darn it! I know I asked the right questions.

Likki and I are in the middle of Copenhagen Airport trying to get our luggage from terminal A to the storage lockers. I was told by an Agent "walk straight across the cobblestone and it will be right there". For some reason, the Agent did not feel the need to inject there was no walkway!

Really, he didn't see the pavement!

One of the trollies crashed, Likki hit the side of the pavement and we officially stopped traffic. As I scrambled to help Likki get his things back on his trolley; the peering car lights patiently waiting, deterred me from screaming my lungs out of order.

After the pavement collision, no more Batman suitcase😐

It gets better!

Finally, we made it to the lockers with a happy suitcase. I have never been to CHP without my partner in crime. Given he was out of the country it was our first time taking the metro in Copenhagen. We have taken Tatas, Tricycles, and Buses in other parts of the world, how crazy can it be?

Well.....after several attempts to buy tickets, I realized my card was blocked. For some reason, my 30mins phone call to my bank three days prior must have still been "pending".

I was taking back to a time I offered to split a check and my card got declined for $20 with no explanation. If you have experienced a similar situation then you know, not a single explanation can ratify that moment. So once again the feeling of helpfulness swept over me.

We made it!

Likki on the other hand happily drifted off to talk to one of the airport attendees as I sort out another dilemma, this time not attributed to him.

After a few calls, we were able to buy a ticket, hop on the metro and feel at home for a few hours! Tuck away in the heart of Hellerup we enjoyed some Thai food, the wontons are nothing like Basil Cafe or Sawatdee in St. Paul, yet it sufficed for the night.

It was great watching the snowfall and talking to Likki about our airport disaster.
